Is this just SEO with a new name?
It overlaps, but the target is different. Classic SEO optimises for a ranked list of links. This optimises for being the source an assistant quotes when it answers without showing a list at all.
What is MCP and do we need it yet?
The Model Context Protocol is the emerging standard for how AI agents call external tools and data. Adoption is early, which is exactly why it's cheap to be ahead — the work is small now and gets expensive once it's table stakes.
Can you measure any of this?
